Hello, Everyone!
Butterflies...butterflies...
Be sure to check St.James Knightly News this week to check out pictures!
5th Grade Reading Buddies & our class released our butterflies on Thursday!
They had a great time watching them flutter off into freedom.
Some children were brave even enough to let a butterfly crawl onto their finger.
What fun!
Caterpillars were sent home on Thursday! Be sure to "set them free"!
A lot of work & effort went into their creation. Enjoy!
Yes, this group did listen to an old classic on Monday: The Very Hungry Caterlillar".
It was also great to see their reaction to "The Butterfly Alphabet" (Kjell.B. Sandved).
All of us were amazed! Beautiful close - up photographs revealed all the letters of the alphabet on butterfly wings! This group did recognize all the letters!
Mrs. A & I were truly amazed by this!
Next week will find us learning about Earth Worms.
How can we help our Earth stay beautiful? What do worms have to do with that?
Parent/Teacher Conferences are happening Monday & Tuesday!
I am looking forward to share bits of information about your child's growth with you.
Let me know if you have questions!
We are so glad weather permits us to take this group of "wild things" outside to get the wiggles out! Spring Fever is raging!
Mrs. A & I are looking forward to more fun in learning with your child!
